Description:
This program calculates time areas for given engine and port characteristics. Actual time areas for given engine speeds are shown upto 10000rpm. Target engine speeds for well established time area limits are also calculated.

Files:
Zylinder.com	-	German port duration/time area calculator
Cylinder.com	-	English Translation of above
Readme.txt	- This file.

Compression ratio is also calculated from given parameters, both geometric and actual. The effects of Gasket surfaces can also be modelled.

Addition:
Mohinder translated the following which were in error, along with other which have been implemented

>Nutzhubraum = there is a difference between geometric and effective
> compression, the same difference is taken for the displacement,
> i think this term means displacement from the point where the
> transfers close.

Use:
The user must enter the appropriate values for their engine. This is done by pressing the appropriate Key which is highlighted for the desired parameter. The user may be given a sub menu of options for that parameter, such as transfer port number, port height, port width.
If port timing is to be given, then the port height should be entered or the port open duration. File transactions are performed using the IN and OUT options.

NOTE:
The program will crash for values of con rod length less than about 85mm.
The program also crashes if unrealistic timing values are entered.
The program also crashes for small values of bore and stroke.
The Head gasket face section does not appear to work correctly.

Sometimes, possible crashes can be avoided by entering the data in a different sequence.

Enhancement:
Source code mofification essential. Pleural thingy not yet understood.

Source code modifications would be nice instead of command file modifications, also to try and stop it crashing.
